Diabetes Research Institute Presents 5th World of Hope Conference

Hollywood, FL (October 2007) — The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation announced today that First American Title Insurance Corporation has kindly signed on as the presenting sponsor of the 5th A World of Hope Conference, a research update for people with type 1 diabetes and their families. Hosted by the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) Foundation, the day-long conference will take place on Saturday, November 3, at The Signature Grand in Davie, beginning at 8 a.m.

“We’re so grateful for socially responsible companies like First American,” DRI Foundation President and CEO Robert A. Pearlman said. “With their support and humanitarian outlook, we will be educating and inspiring the diabetes community at A World of Hope.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the scientists who are turning promising discoveries into novel treatments for those living with type 1 diabetes. They’ll hear firsthand about innovative technologies, new, cell-based therapies and the latest projects aimed at restoring insulin production in patients. Members of the PEP Squad (Parents Empowering Parents), an outreach group that mentors families of newly diagnosed children, will interact with attendees, and exhibitors and informational booths will be open throughout the event.
