How You Can Help
Donor Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving vehicle that combines tax benefits and the ability to make flexible donations to your favorite charities, including the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
How does a donor-advised fund work?
A DAF allows you to put a sum of money into a charitable investment account and give meaningful donations to nonprofits over time. Your contributions to a DAF are tax-deductible, and any investment growth is tax-free.
DAFs can be a great way to simplify your giving and achieve your philanthropic goals, while receiving tax benefits.
If you currently have a donor-advised fund through Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon Charitable, you may initiate a donation through DAFDirect.
