Hollywood, FL (July, 2009) — Throughout the summer, renowned football agent Drew Rosenhaus will appear in two TV commercials and three radio ads promoting the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League.
In return, the Panthers will donate $5,000 to Rosenhaus’ charity of choice, the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
Jill and Robert Rosenhaus, Drew’s parents, have been involved with the DRI Foundation for many years. Jill is a longtime member of the diabetes organization’s Love and Hope Executive Committee, and just last year won the coveted Star Award, bestowed annually upon the person who stands out among this unusually dedicated committee.
One of the most recognizable sports agents of the NFL, Drew owns the Miami-based sports agency Rosenhaus Sports, which is considered the premier dealmaker in the NFL. The only agent ever to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated, Rosenhaus is said to have been the inspiration for the character of Bob Sugar in the movie Jerry Maguire.
