Ray Allen Golf Classic and Ray of Hope Luncheon Scheduled for January 27, 2014

WHAT:
NBA All-Star Ray Allen and his wife, Shannon, have teamed up with South Florida philanthropists Andria and Javier Holtz and their families to co-chair the Ray Allen Golf Classic and Ray of Hope Luncheon, benefiting the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF) and JDRF.  To be held simultaneously, the two events will feature live and silent auctions, an array of fabulous food, cocktails, awards and so much more!

The families decided to join efforts to raise funds for diabetes research and spread awareness of type 1 diabetes, which affects the Allens’ son, Walker, 6, and the Holtzes’ son, Andrew, 19.
