Beginning this month, Insulin Nation will include an ongoing feature titled “Cure Insight” that highlights the cure-focused research underway at the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) at the University of Miami and its team of researchers that is at the forefront of this pioneering work. The first article, “Inside the Hope Factory,” profiles the DRI’s scientific director, Camillo Ricordi, M.D., and his strategy for curing a disease that he has dedicated his life to conquering.
