Where Does the Money Go?
The funds raised from each $33 voucher will be distributed equally to support groundbreaking diabetes research at:
- The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF), supporting the Diabetes Research Institute at the University of Miami.
- JDRF International (now Breakthrough T1D), benefiting the JDRF Northern Florida chapter.
- The University of Florida Diabetes Institute at the University of Florida.
How to Purchase Your Voucher
Pre-sale vouchers are available online through the Florida Escambia County website. You can also visit your local Florida tax collector’s office. After purchasing your voucher, it will be linked to your driver record, and you’ll be able to redeem it once the plate goes into production.
