Kellie Rodriguez is the Director of Education Services at the Diabetes Research Institute, responsible for the coordination, implementation and evaluation of both patient and professional education programs.
Ms. Rodriguez received her professional and educational training in Australia, where she attained her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and her Master of Health Science (Nursing) at Deakin University.
Prior to joining the DRI, Ms. Rodriguez managed a large, community-based diabetes practice that provided care to individuals from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds. In addition, she was an active member of both the State and National Australian Diabetes Educator Association, holding leadership positions and developing and coordinating education programs for primary care physicians and other health care professionals.
