In February, the Billetdeaux family visited the Diabetes Research Institute in Miami and attended our annual Love and Hope Ball fundraising gala. Sam fell in love…with an “elephant” in the silent auction. He bid on it to support the cure-focused research he had just seen up close. And he won!
